St. Louis Rams Buyout?

October 7th, 2009 by Lee

The Associated Press is reporting that Rush Limbaugh is considering buying the St. Louis Rams.

When I first considered the purchase, I had to question Rush Limbaugh’s intelligence. Why would you want to buy a team that’s going to take years to rebuild on all ends? Not only that, but they have one of the longest losing streaks in NFL history (14) and a dismal record since 2007 (5-31). The days of Kurt Warner’s Rams are over, yet Rush wants to invest in them?

St. Louis Rams Fail

It’s actually kind of smart if you consider the fact the Rams are allowed to move away from St. Louis in 2014 if the dome doesn’t rank in the top 25% for attendance. It’s already happened with St. Louis once in 1987 (i.e. the Cardinals).

So WTF Rush? What are you up to? As a native of St. Louis, are you going to rebuild the team? Or are you going to break their hearts?
